Heirs International Presents BMX Bike Park

In 2006 Pastor Frank Starks III and his wife First Lady Cassandra received a vision from God that would minister to the youth in the rough neighborhoods of Compton. This was a bold and non-traditional vision which would need the commitment of time, resources, and labor of the congregation in order to fulfill the purpose of the vision for the inner city youth. So the people gathered supplies and immediately went to work around the clock, literally non-stop for 4 days and 3 nights to build the BMX Bike Park which was immediately received into the community and word of its location quickly spread throughout the country and northern Mexico. Subsequently the crime rate for Compton, CA was dropping in numbers and there was unity among youth of all ethnicity, ages and culture who joined in to compete and participate in the growing BMX sport games. Families were cheering together as they encouraged their teens in these exciting time productive activities.

An encouraging Word was given during these events and ministry had taken place to bring the people to salvation. The mayor and politicians took notice and supported the events as well and in the midst of it all, the bike park was closed, the built items were donated to Mexico, and the camaraderie of the youth from all over the country dissipated from the location in Compton. The feeling was somber but there was joy in seeing the work of God in this new Ministry that was sparked by the BMX Bike Park in Compton, CA.

However, there is light at the end of the tunnel as this powerful ministry moves further in the direction of reaching families. Today, the BMX Bike Ministry comprised of youth and young adults from across the US tour different citites to bring action packed stunts with the joy of the Gospel. They minister to other youth and young adults to let them know that it's cool to use your gifts and talents while worshiping God and spreading the good news our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Each athlete not only has exceptional talent but also has a unique testimony that the share with others to inspire and encourage and win souls to Christ.
